This is usually your choice. If you wish to stay in your home while your extension or house renovation takes place, you are most welcome to do so. However, we must be able to grant you safe access to certain amenities in the house. If areas like the bathroom or kitchen are blocked off, you may need to find temporary accommodation elsewhere instead.
If you have used contractors in the past that you think will be a good fit for this job, let us know. We’re always looking to collaborate with other professionals in the industry. We’ll ensure they meet our safety standards, provide the necessary insurance information, and are ready to meet all build deadlines.
We can easily add ground floor or two-storey home extensions to a Deepdene heritage-listed property. However, this process may require a little more time than usual due to the extensive planning and approvals that must take place. We’ll work closely with the Boroondara council to ensure all permits are obtained in a timely manner before starting the build.
