Some families want to continue living at their property during a renovation and, often, this is possible to achieve. Sometimes, when amenities like a bathroom or a kitchen are directly involved in construction, living at the property will not be tenable. However, if you let us know your preferences, we will do everything possible to make you feel at home during the building process.
Yes. If you want to hire specific tradies for the job, that’s fine with us. We will, however, require that they comply with our Occupational Heath and Safety standards, and meet the necessary insurance requirements.
Additionally, we can only guarantee that our tradespeople will finish a job by a set timeline. You’ll have to set up a separate contractual obligation between yourself and your preferred tradies, with its own timeline.
Depending on the type of project, and any hurdles that have to be overcome, the timeline for a home extension or renovation varies. However, we do our research early on in the design phase. We spend time identifying potential issues, like hazards, obstacles, and heritage listings, and make sure your design is properly engineered to last the distance..
But when we do set a completion date for a project, we keep it. Once we reach the stage where a contract is being drawn up, you’ll have a precise completion date for the build.
Certainly. In fact, we prefer it that way. Our designers will work with you, listening to your ideas and desires, and will use that information in their designs. It’s all about making your aspirations into a reality.
The process starts with a Free Design Consultation, where we take stock of everything that you want from your home extension or renovation. From there, we can figure out a practical plan to get the job done.
