There are three distinct phases of a Supa Group home extension. The design phase, the contract preparation phase, and the build phase. Once we’ve conducted the free design consultation, we’ll have a great understanding of how long your project will take from start to finish.
A number of our clients choose to engage their own contractors for certain parts of a project. For example, some people like to use their own electrician or plumber. We happily work in conjunction with your tradespeople as long as all relevant Occupational Health and Safety and insurance requirements are met.
If you wish to engage a preferred tradesperson, please note that we offer a fixed contractual completion date. Your preferred tradespeople will need to work in accordance with the timeframe determined by Supa Group.
Supa Group has a dedicated building department with fully qualified building staff. A specific building supervisor will be assigned to your project, and will see your project through on a day-to-day basis.
The building supervisor works in conjunction with our senior managers who regularly check the progress of your extension for quality assurance and ensure the project is completed on time.
Many of our clients choose to live in their homes during the entire construction process. A few choose to move out for a short period of time, and only a small number move out for the entire duration.
If you choose to remain, our building team will ensure that you’ll have access to bathroom and toileting facilities at all times throughout the building timeline.
