What to expect

When you have approved your concept plans, we ask you to sign a preliminary order and pay a deposit. We then will contact you to conduct a site measure. The purpose of the site measure is to accurately measure your home so the working drawings can be completed.

The build stages

Every project has its own timeline and sets of challenges, but in a nutshell, here's how your build will look from start to finish:

Documentation

Working drawings, engineering and all other necessary documentation is prepared in our office to complete the building contract and specification

Fittings and finishes

Fittings and colours are selected and added to the building file.

Planning permission

If necessary, planning permission is sought from Council and or a building permit obtained from a private building surveyor.

Preliminary meeting

Pre-commencement meeting takes place on-site with the build team.

Build

Building commences through the stages of demolition to completion.

Certification

Final certificate is issued by the building surveyor confirming all works required under the permit have been completed.

Handover

Handover occurs, where you walk through room by room with members of the build team.

Follow up

3-month follow up from our building department checks if there have been any movement or other defects.

Warranty

There is a two-year defect warranty and ten-year structural warranty included in the contract.

We plan all our projects to ensure we can maintain accurate timelines.
