About Supa Group

Just like our home extensions and renovations, Supa Group has stood the test of time. We were founded in 1974 by Frank Way, laying a solid groundwork of commitment and service to his staff, subcontractors, and most importantly, his clients — families seeking to remain in the home they know and love.

Now owned and operated by Neil Gardiner, Supa Group’s original commitment has remained the same. Today, our clients are still offered the peace of mind that comes with hiring a builder who takes projects from conception to completion.

Our reputation as a multi-award-winning master builder is built upon a foundation of commitment to quality. We are proud to deliver best possible outcomes for our clients, and we want to do the same for you. Contact us for a free design consultation, and begin building towards the future.

FAQs

How long will the building process take for my Caulfield South home extension?

As with anything, the length of time your build will take depends on the size, scale, and complexity of your overall project. When you work with us, you can be assured of ongoing updates so that you know exactly how your project is progressing.

We also have a great deal of experience in working with the City of Glen Eira. This means securing permits and planning approval for your project is much more straightforward.

Do I need to move out of my Caulfield South home while it's being renovated?

Many of our clients choose to remain in their home while their renovation is underway, and so long as you have a functioning bathroom and toilet facilities, you can reside in your home.

While there will be some debris and dust from the construction process, you will be secure. We will work with you to ensure that you are aware of any health and safety at every stage of the build process for your peace of mind.

How much will my renovation cost?

Every renovation that we undertake varies in size and scale, and when it comes to the pricing of your renovation, the cost will vary depending on what you are looking to achieve. Some forms of renovation are more costly than others; a ground floor renovation will cost more to build than a second storey renovation in most cases, for example.

When you work with us, you can be assured of accurate quoting and regular updates about your project. We are committed to keeping your costs low and overseeing your entire project, so you always know where you stand.

Is it better to knock down and rebuild, or renovate?

A knock down and rebuild may be an option you’re considering, but if your home has some heritage or period features, you may need to renovate to get the space you need. To find out if your home has heritage significance, visit the Heritage Council of Victoria.

Renovating gives you the freedom to update your existing home and breathe new life into your home’s footprint. In many cases, you can live in your home while it is being renovated, while a knock down and rebuild requires you to secure other accommodation while the build is taking place. It’s best to weigh up the pros and cons and speak to a builder who can assess your home, your goals, and advise you from there.
