Yes. To complete home extensions in Eaglemont, you will be required to obtain a building permit issued by the registered building surveyor. This is the last step in the process before construction begins. However, if you’re adding extras to your home, such as flood overlays or strata tiles, the local council will need to approve these changes. This is called planning permission.
Most of our clients are able to stay in their homes while we work on the extension project. However, if our builders cannot grant you safe access to the kitchen, bedroom or toilet, you will need to find temporary accommodation until we can do so. Our team aims to plan all extensions and house renovations meticulously and provide you with a convenient experience.
